“Lady Wallscourt” de Thomas Lawrence

Lawrence’s painting was painted in 1825 and belongs to the era of romanticism. The piece is painted in oils. Because it is from 1825, it was one of the final works of Thomas Lawrence.

This work of art is a very minimalist painting, composed by a brunette woman in a white dress with rosy cheeks. She’s playing the classical guitar. The background is really simple, with a black-bluish painting and the beige wall of the room.
Lawrence painted the majority of his artwork in the 19th century, in this era, romanticism, Fernando Sor also composed music.

Thomas Lawrence was born in 1769 and died in 1830. He was from the United Kingdom, he was born in Bristol and died in London. And Fernando Sor lived from 1778 to 1839. He was from Barcelona, Spain. But he died in Paris, France.

About the instruments of the painting there is not much to say, there is only an acoustic guitar. Guitars are plucked string instruments. The guitars origin in the Middle Ages (1600).
